 Hello to those of you who traverse here at MeijiTales. Your looking at this to learn about me? All the power to you.

 

I am y a 20 something female university graduate with a burning sort of desire (and/or “fan compulsion” if you would rather see it worded that way) when it comes to Rurouni Kenshin. I'll admit, it hasn't always been Rurouni Kenshin, and I still have other anime love affairs, but RuroKen has wormed its way into a beloved status on my radar. As a result, of recent years I have begun writing fan fiction for the series, generally to be posted on ff.net (under the same pen name, actually).

 

I have one fond reason in particular to write RK fiction and draw respective fan art, and his name is Sagara Sanosuke. If I have chance to chat at you folk in the future, I'll be sure to post my reasons at length at some point. For now, suffice to say I am very biased in what I read, as in it must include Sanosuke in some substantial form. This dedication has lead me to read many a story (though I really don't review often enough, terrible person that I am) I read all genres and all pairings – I'm content so long as there is a solid plot. However I write generally hurt/care, angst, and humor stories for the topic. I have nothing against romance, but I'm not that terribly strong at writing it so I may as well leave over to those who are.

 

My spelling and grammar can – at times – be atrocious. What's worse is that I do not see these mistakes, in my own work or others. I'd make a terrible beta reader, however I myself am in desperate need of one! (Volunteers, anyone?) I have managed to borrow one to this point to help me with a one shot, but I seriously would be interested in something of a patient beta to work through my longer stories (So I could perhaps someday post them here... would be nice.)

 

Other than RuroKen, I graduated University for a major called Web and Digital Media Development.  I am a geek. I am a gamer. I do buy anime and manga and secretly hoard them on my shelves a home glowering at those who may step too close. And ironically, I'm dating a red-neck (I love him to pieces, but still, what are the odds?)
