1. One: The Civil Outlaw by BakaBokken [Reviews - 1] (8573 words)
My god, I’ve been corrupted by the RurouKen AU plot bunnies. But before you explode, please read the author’s note. I promise I’m not on crack.
Warnings include language, violence, and a horrendous distortion of the Rurouni Kenshin story. Expect a bizarre mesh of Japanese culture/pseudo-history and one of Baka's strange impressions of the fantasy genre
wynd: (n.) alley
Majutsusha: a term I horrendously coined – ‘majutsu’ means ‘black magic; sorcery’.
Disclaimer: Rurouni Kenshin and all affiliated characters, storylines, and settings belong to the wonderful Watsuki Nobuhiro and all companies holding title to its license. Used without permission for no profit.

Haha. Um. I’m going to go hide over there, behind that bullet-proof piece of glass under my rock. Please don’t mind me. Or maim me. 8D;
2. Two: The Mad Charlatan by BakaBokken [Reviews - 0] (9352 words)
Disclaimer: Rurouni Kenshin and all affiliated characters and settings are the property of Watsuki Nobuhiro and all companies associated with the license and release of the series. Warnings: mild language, violence, and a little bit of crack.
Obligatory Terms:
-dono – an extremely antiquated and polite suffix for names (there really isn't a good English equivalent, I swear!)
kenjutsu – swordsmanship
kijutsu – magic (no connotation)
kijutsudou – the art of magic practice
kijutsushi – one who uses kijutsu
majubyoki – another poorly-coined word, roughly meaning “black magic sickness”
Majutsusha – one who uses black magic (coined)
Shishou – a supremely honorific term for a master-like figurehead
And do let me know if I've missed any!
