Site Upgrade
Hey everybody, sorry for the mess, we are mid site upgrade at the moment. We'll have A LOT of cool new features when this is all done, in the meantime, please put up with these different skins until I've completed the whole process.
Don't update anything until I say I'm done because it will be lost.

Reviews & Rated R Ratings Adjustments
Hi all,
Due to issues with spambots, I've had to turn off the feature for annoymous reviews, so all reviews for now need to be by registered users. If you aren't registered and would like to leave a review, please sign up for an account. No worries about spam from me or anything like that from getting registered. This should fix our spambot problem. I'm hoping to upgrade the script soon to eFiction 3.0, and when that happens we will hopefully be able to turn the annoymous review feature back on.
In other news...as of today, you must sign on and be 17 years or older to read Rated R stories. This has been implemented to restrict younger members and viewers from reading materials meant for mature audiences. And if by any chance you do sign up and lie about your age—just know that you are the one being dishonest (and breaking the law) and that our side is clear of guilt.

The 2005 RKRC voting booth is now open and accepting votes. You can go here:
http://rkrc.meijitales.com/vote.html
to get to the voting booth and place your votes now!
I want to apologize for how long it took me to get this up this year. Sorry everybody, I will try to be more with it next year, we might even have a new and better system. I'll of course, keep you all posted as usual. ^_^

RKRC Story Adding
This is just a reminder for authors competing in the 2005 RKRC.
We are now entering all official entries into the archives here so we can set up the voting booth, so if you got an email from the archives with your login and password, it's because we had to set up an account for you. Keep these for your records so you will have access to your account in the future.
If you have questions, please contact myself or any of the other K-gumi staff.

We Need Your Help!
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Kenshin-gumi are currently plotting a special challenge to be held here on MT.com. We are not going to disclose the challenge to you now, but we do need some help.
We want to offer REAL PRIZES to send to the winners of this challenge. What would you be interested in winning as a prize? Preferably RK related items please, since that is a common interest of everybody here, and the theme of these archives. Also, don't bother suggesting things that are outrageously expensive, we are woking with a budget here. ^_^ The sooner we get prize ideas, the sooner we can get cracking on this and the sooner we can mail out those prizes!
Leave a comment here with your suggestion, or email it to bunny@meijitales.com

STAFF Overflowing! LOL
Ok, just before I get more people volunteering to help out, I want to let you all know, I'm now probably overstaffed with the enormous response I've received for this. So, I don't need anymore Kenshin-gumi members at the moment, and I think I have enough beta team members for the time-being as well. I will still accept beta team applications though if you really want to join. ^_^
I'm so thrilled that so many of you are willing to help out and have signed up. I think this is really going to help out this site and it will definitely help me have more time to take care of things like the RKRC and making improvements to this site.
So without furhter ado, here is a complete list of the MT.com staff as of May 28th, 2006:
Kenshin-gumi:
Bunny
DreamHeart
Kellen
Mitchy
Nekotsuki
PraiseDivineMercy
Ravyn
Beta Team:
Bunny
dementedchris
DreamHeart
Espiritus
guanyin-kun
Kellen
Mitchy
PraiseDivineMercy
Ravyn
Rhyein
SiriusFan13
sueb262
Team Leader: Ravyn
There is also one beta application still pending, so I will announce that one as well once they are all set up.
Thanks so much everybody for being so generous with your time! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. ^_^

Staff Response, Beta Changes & 2005 RKRC
Hey all,
I want to thank you so much for the fast responses I had for those volunteering to join the K-gumi and the beta team here on MT.com. I'm super impressed!
Nekotsuki will be a new Kenshin-gumi member and in charge of the monthly challenges here on MT.com, starting in June.
PraiseDivineMercy will also be joining the Kenshin-gumi staff to help out with the submissions, RKRC, and beta team.
siriusfan13 and guanyin-kun have both signed up to join the beta team.
Still Needed:
More beta team members, and I am still looking for a beta team leader.
Possibly another K-gumi member.
If anybody has an interest in either or both teams, please email me.
Beta Adjustments
The beta readers team will no longer function as a separate site, but will be part of this site here. In order to submit a story to be beta read by one of the staff, please submit your story how you normally would to archive it, but instead of placing it in one of the main categories, place it in one of the new "beta readers" categories.
Notice to all Validated Authors: This process doesn't work correctly for you since all of your stories skip the queue, so to have your stories beta read, you need to send an email to bunny@meijitales.com and it will be allocated from there.
I will keep you all posted as further adjustments are made on this new process.
2005 RKRC AWARDS:
Have been updated with all the nominations! The nomination period ends on June 30th, 2006, so make sure you get all your favorite 2005 stories in before it's too late!

STAFF NEEDED!
For any of you willing to help out around here, I'm currently in need of the following staff postions:
Kenshin-gumi - Specifically I would like someone who would be willing to join the staff and also host the monthly challenges here on MT.com in addition to all other K-gumi staff duties.
Kenshin-gumi - Regular K-gumi staff member. Check submissions, add RKRC stories, etc. Possibly more than one of these.
Beta Readers Team Leader: Someone who will oversee the beta reader team under my direction.
Beta Readers - As many as possible. We're in desperate need of more members on the beta readers team. There are many authors out there needing beta readers, and we need an easy way to get them in contact with those willing to help. I'm going to revamp the way the beta team is run to streamline this process as well, so I need to get those willing to help out signed up and added to the team ASAP.
If you have any questions, interest, have the skills and resources availble to help in any of these postitions, please email me bunny@meijitales.com ASAP.

Reviews on the Move
Yes, the reviews don't appear to be showing up that were submitted prior to the server move. I have NO IDEA why. I've checked, and reloaded the database and they are ALL there. So...no, they are not lost they are just invisible at the moment for some unknown reason. I'm working on solving this great mystery and soon enough I'm sure I will have them VISABLE again. O_o; THANKS! ^_^

Owner Post: IMPORTANT NOTICE
FYI TO ALL USERS:
