This is another writing prompt so you guys can exercise your writing abilities as well as any plot bunnies!
TFME Presents: Writing Prompt
Below I will offer you a number of different prompts to choose from and you may choose one, or all of them!
You may use any couple and character from the Rurouni Kenshin fandom.
Good luck!
1. Re-write the Rurouni Kenshin anime/manga with a fairy tale of your choice. Whether it's Snow White, Cinderella, or Beauty and the Beast, make sure you keep some key details that belong to the characters. Make sure you add a twist that will keep us on the edge of our seats.
2. Add the Kenshin-gumi in the modern world! This one has so many possibilities so have fun with it! Try to stick with their personalities, once again, to retain the feel of Rurouni Kenshin.
3. Describe the relationship between two characters. Pick a scene, any scene, and run away with it.
4. Write a story with 5 chapters. Each chapter is the same scene but a different character's perspective. Personalities and emotions are critical in this one, so make the most of it.
5. Write a story around an item one of the characters found. Any genre is approved.
I hope to see some good results!
By the way, the first five to upload their story will be showcased in the feature section of the website!

The 30 Themes Drabble Challenge
TFME Presents:
The 30 Themes Drabble Challenge
Welcome to TFME's first drabble challenge where you write a drabble/ficlet using one of the thirty themes listed. The challenge is to write a drabble based on one of the following themes. Then write another one. Then another. Do you get the idea?
You can use any character and/or couple from Rurouni Kenshin.
NO CHEAP ENTRIES! This is not a race, take your time.
TFME's submission rules/guidelines still apply!
Q&A:
What is a drabble?
A drabble is a one-part story that can be anywhere from fifty to five-thousand words, but is centered around, or inspired by, a pre-set theme.
Do I have to use the themes given? Can I use my own?
Yes, you have to use the themes listed, and no you cannot use one of your own.
Can I write one drabble with more than one theme?
No, each theme has to have its own drabble.
Can I submit a story I have already written?
No.
Is there a prize for completing the challenge?
Bragging rights and a banner made by one of the staff members of TFME.
Can I submit my drabbles on another site?
They are your drabbles, you may do as you please with them.
Do I have to do them in order?
No, they can be in any order you choose.
How long do I have to respond?
Today is September 18th. You have until November 20th.

How do I respond to the challenge?
First - if you don't have an account here, make sure you Sign Up Here Go to "Account Info" once you are logged in. Then click on "Add New Story" and for the title, put in a name for your whole 30 themes. From there, add in your first drabble by filling in the form. For the chapter title, put in the theme number for your drabble and the name of that drabble.
NOTE: Please be sure to put in the word count for each drabble.
Second - As you write each drabble, add your drabble to your story like you would for any normal chapter story by clicking on "Account Info," then "Manage Stories." After clicking on the edit link by the name of your drabbles list, click on "Add New Chapter" at the bottom of the chapters list.
Third - Each time you add a drabble to your list, come HERE to this challenge post and click on the link at the bottom that says: [Contribute to Round Robin] In the "Add New Chapter" page you need to put the title of your drabble in the chapter section along with YOUR USERNAME. In the Story Text area, put a link to your drabble you have just added like this:

Note: Remove the spaces at between the < and the first thing it connects to.
Make sure you PREVIEW before your post, otherwise the link will not show up correctly.

Write a Picture Challenge
A&Q:
What is this challenge?
This Challenge is where you look at the picture and write a story that evolves around that picture.
DoI have to use the picture you have posted?
Yes. You may not use any other picture for this challenge.
Can I submit a story that I have already written?
No. It has to be a new story evolving this picture.
How long do I have to finish it?
You have no time limit, this challenge will always be open.
How long must it be?
Minimum of 100 words. It can be a simple drabble, but must evolve the picture. No chapter stories, only one shots.
May I use my story somewhere else?
It's your story, you may do what you want with it,
How do you want me to submit it?

May I submit more than once?
I will allow it, but it has to be completely different from what you wrote. Don't write the same thing and do it differently.
Rule/guidelines still apply to this challenge, aside from it having to be eight hundred words or more I will let slide, if it is a drabble. Anyway, here is your challenge photo:

Few Things
1. I'm sorry for being MIA for half a year. I have neglected this site from the insanity which has been my life recently. I'm going to work on taking more time out to be here and run things and get some fun stuff going on here again.
2. The RKRC stories have finally been added (as you may have noticed) thanks to Natsu. I will be working on putting up the voting booth and opening it up for voting, very soon!
3. I'm looking for staff. I need reliable staff, don't volunteer just because it sounds fun. I need somewhat of a commitment to being here and being active and keeping in touch with me. Things I need staff to do are: story moderating, beta reading, podcasting, forums moderating, contests and challenge coordinating. You don't have to do all of them, but even if you'd be willing to do just one, please contact me either here by leaving a comment or by email bunny@meijitales.com

Hosting Donations
Well...it's come to this. I never wanted to do this, but I'm being forced. I'm currently broke. Bad broke...and as some of you are already aware ever since a few months back, my hosting company has been literally raping me in hosting fees. $90+/month for all my fansites - of which I don't make any money off of and pay for out of my own pocket. My business has been helping with paying for it, but it can't support the hosting completely at my current high rate and on a personal level I'm broke. So I've added a hosting donations button - so if you're so inclined to help me keep the site online until I can work out a cheaper hosting option and get us moved to a new server that would help out a lot.
The money goes directly to my hosting company, so I can't touch it for personal means. I've set it where you can donate however much you want, but know that it's run by paypal and they take out 5% + .30 cents for every donation. (More rape!)
Anyhow, thanks in advance for any of you that help out and support the fansites financially until I can get on my feet and get moved to somewhere more affordable!

2006 nominations are NO LONGER being accepted. I received just under 100 last minute seconds and accepts...I will try to update that and get the voting booth going ASAP. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, authors - if you haven't sent in your acceptance yet - this is your grace period. You have from now until I do the final update to send it in. Once I do the last update you auto-disqualify.
